Defence writer position vacant

Phantom Media, publisher of Australian Defence Business Review (ADBR), DIAR.com and Australian Aviation, is seeking an entry level full-time journalist/defence writer and researcher to join its Canberra office to research and write news and feature articles on defence and defence business issues, mainly for ADBR and DIAR.com but also for Australian Aviation.

The successful applicant may have appropriate experience as a journalist, have served within the Australian Defence Force or worked within the Australian Department of Defence or Australian defence industry. Specialist knowledge of defence issues — government policy, the defence budget, acquisition processes and programs, military capabilities and the Australian defence industry – is highly desirable.
