“TAE has serviced GE’s F404 and F414 military engines for many years, and GE is looking forward to expanding our relationship to include the M601 and H80 turboprop engine for business and general aviation,” said Jim Stoker, president and managing executive of GE Aviation’s Business and General Aviation Turboprops. “TAE’s strong presence in Asia Pacific will help us assist our customers with quality service and support in this region.”

TAE’s general manager Andrew Sanderson said the addition of the H80 adds to TAE’s capabilities as the largest independent turbine engine MRO provider in Australia.

TAE operates from four sites in Australia and already provides services for GE’s F404/F414 jet engines powering the RAAF’s F/A-18s, Garrett TPE331 and Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboprops.
