Airbus forecasts 1,100 aircraft for Brazil

Airbus has forecast the need for 1,060 new aircraft in Brazil through to 2031.  According to its latest Global Market Forecast the manufacturer predicts a requirement for 700 single-aisle, 310 twin-aisle and 50 very large aircraft.

Airbus has based its views on Brazil’s forward GDP forecasts, which it suggests will grow above the world average.  Brazil’s economy is expected to double over the next 20 years, with the country’s domestic market having already doubled since 2006.
