737 single-year record for deliveries

Boeing has delivered the most 737s in a single year than at any time in the aircraft’s production history, even though more than three weeks remain to the end of 2012.

On December 3 the 377^th Next Generation 737 built in 2012 was handed over, a -900ER for United Airlines.  The previous highest 737 delivery figure was 376 in 2010.
