Jetstar Asia’s CEO Bara Pasupathi said that the new capacity is a result of adding two new A320s to the fleet in Singapore.

“Since 2009, we have been acquiring aircraft at an average rate of two per year. In financial year 2013, Jetstar Asia welcomed six new A320s as part of a fleet renewal exercise,” Pasupathi said.

“Our focus on expanding our Southeast Asia network and schedule gives our customers as well as our codeshare and interline passengers, greater choice and access to some of Asia’s most exciting holiday destinations.”
