Airbus Helicopters, formerly Eurocopter, has announced its 2013 results at a media conference in Paris.
The newly restructured company delivered 497 helicopters in 2013, a number which the company says covers 46 per cent of the global civil and parapublic market, and received orders for 422 machines.

A snapshot of the order breakdown shows 211 orders for the light EC120/Squirrel/Fennec/EC130 family, 61 for the EC135 light twin, 61 for the EC145, 17 for the medium twin Dauphin/Panther/ EC155 family, 33 for the medium-heavy Super Puma/Cougar EC225/EC725 line, five for the new EC175 medium twin, and 34 orders for the NH90 military transport helo.
Plans for 2014 include the imminent certification and service entry of the EC175 resource and VIP transport helo, the certification of the EC145T2 which features a new fenestron tail rotor and Helionix avionics, and increased production rates for the NH90, Tiger, and EC725 military helicopters.
