Airbus delivered its 6000th aircraft on January 19, an A380 to Emirates which is that carrier’s eighth of the type.
To commemorate the milestone, more than 200 guests attended a special delivery ceremony at Airbus’s Hamburg delivery centre. The aircraft also features a special inscription alongside the Emirates livery noting that it is the 6000th aircraft to be produced by the European manufacturer.
