Christopher Pyne, Minister for Defence Industry, has announced an extension to the air combat training services support contract for the ongoing sustainment and operation of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Air Combat Group’s Hornet, Super Hornet and Growler aircrew training simulator systems.
The contract extension awarded to Raytheon Australia and subcontractor Milskil is valued at approximately $100 million, and brings together separate contracts for the management and execution of training and support services for the Hornet and Super Hornet, as well as adding Growler training support services.

The revised contract will sustain approximately 50 jobs, supporting capabilities located at RAAF Base Amberley, RAAF Base Williamtown and RAAF Base Tindal, Minister Pyne said.
