Bombardier says its Challenger 350 has become the fastest business jet in the medium and large category to reach 300 deliveries.
The company said in a statement announced the 300th delivery on July 11.

“The delivery of the 300th Challenger 350 business jet in only five years after its entry-into-service represents another exciting milestone for Bombardier, and underscores the trust our customers place in this industry-leading aircraft,” Bombardier Business Aircraft senior vice president and worldwide sales and marketing Peter Likoray said in a statement.
Launched in 2013, the Challenger 350 is an update on the Challenger 300 and features 7,323lb Honeywell HTF7350 engines, as well as a cabin designed to seat eight people.
The aircraft entered service with launch customer NetJets in June 2014, following certification earlier that year.
The company delivered 60 Challenger 350 aircraft in calendar 2018, representing 58 per cent of the super mid-size segment.
Bombardier noted the Challenger 350 was recently recognised by Robb Report Magazine as the best of the best super mid-size aircraft for the second consecutive year.
Bombardier recently announced some improvements to the Challenger 350, such as Head-up Display (HUD) and Enhanced Vision System (EVS), state-of-the-art cabin sound-proofing technology, and refined cockpit aesthetics.
A performance improvement package has also extended the aircraft’s range by up to 1,500nm out of short runways, which complimented its steep approach certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transport Canada.
The Challenger 350 is built at Bombardier’s facility in Montreal, Quebec.
Business jets is Bombardier’s sole interest in aircraft production, following the sale of a half-stake in its CSeries program to Airbus. The program was then renamed the Airbus A220.
Bombardier has also sold its Q400 turboprop program to Longview, and its Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) program to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
And as part of a restructure of the business, Bombardier has also put up two of its aerostructures facilities up for sale.
