Airservices Australia and the RAAF have signed a Joint Operational Concept to develop and implement harmonised civil and military air traffic management systems, which also promises to save millions of dollars.

“By purchasing and developing compatible equipment and technology together, the RAAF and Airservices will provide better value for money and potentially save taxpayers millions of dollars,” said Transport Minister Anthony Albanese, adding that it delivered on a promise put forward in the government’s Aviation White Paper, which was released in December last year.
