MD-12 on Offer: McDonnell Douglas has begun offering its MD-12 long range trijet to the world’s airlines, preparatory to a formal launch in 1992 if sufficient provisional orders have been booked. The MD-12 is an enlarged, longer range development of the new MD-11 which in turn is derived from the DC-10. With a wing span
